dc.descriptionSubjectivity is truth, asserts a famous passage from the Concluding Unscientific Postscript, widely discussed by Kierkegaardian scholars. To be a subject is to always be wrong, asserts Markus Gabriel in another concluding passage of his thought. Both statements respond to the same (neo-) existential conception, determined by the dialectic of a possible and powerful negativity. Illuminating the reasons for this convergence, as well as explaining why subjectivity is radically fallible, and at the same time identical with truth, is the purpose of this work, which will find—between Kierkegaard and Gabriel—the conceptual background of absolute idealism. Indeed, Friedrich W. J. Schelling 's potency—Potenz—and Georg W. F. Hegel’ spirit—Geist— will intervene in this neo-existential dialogue.en-US
dc.descriptionLa subjetividad es la verdad, asegura un célebre pasaje del Postscriptum no científico definitivo ampliamente discutido por los estudiosos kierkegaardianos. Ser sujeto es estar siempre equivocado, asegura Markus Gabriel en otro pasaje resolutivo de su pensamiento. Ambas afirmaciones responden a una misma concepción (neo-)existencial determinada por la dialéctica de una negatividad posible y poderosa. Iluminar las razones de esa convergencia, así como explicar por qué la subjetividad es radicalmente falible y a la vez idéntica a la verdad, es el objetivo de este trabajo, que encontrará —entre Kierkegaard y Gabriel— el trasfondo conceptual del idealismo absoluto. En efecto, la potencia —Potenz— de Friedrich W. J. Schelling y el espíritu —Geist— de Georg W. F. Hegel terciarán en este diálogo neoexistencial.es-ES
