This document proposes an implementation of a telemedicine system to improve health care. Specifically, in this paper will be shown the advantages in the care of patients with cardio-respiratory problems and the importance of monitoring their status in real time. On theother hand, consider the need to introduce a remote consultation system to improve care for people living far from the metropolis. Throughout the entire document will be clear that applications are inherently distributed, thus highlighting relevance of these in the area of telemedicine.

Este documento propone la implantación de un sistema de Telemedicina para mejorar la atención médica. Específicamente se verán las ventajas en la atención de pacientes con dificultades cardio-respiratorias y la importancia de monitorear su estado en tiempo real. Por otra parte, se analizará la necesidad de implantar un sistema de consultas a distancia que mejore la asistencia a las personas que viven en el interior del país. A lo largo de todo el documento quedará claro que las aplicaciones son intrínsecamente distribuidas, resaltando así la relevancia de los mismos en el área de la Telemedicina.
