dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación busca rastrear el alcance y el valor ontológico de la obra de arte en el corpus ficcional y académico del autor John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. En su desempeño como filólogo, el autor nos propone un acercamiento al texto que se impregna de una sensibilidad propia, fundamental para entender la mirada sobre la creación artística. Desde su perspectiva, el artista es análogo a la divinidad, y su obra de arte es una sub-creación que se estructura poniendo en relación estrecha a su creador con sus receptores. Vinculando estas nociones teóricas con la obra ficcional del autor, se desentrañará desde qué dimensión se posiciona la prosa tolkieniana ante el mundo y ante el hombre. Para lograr este objetivo, en el primer capítulo se realizará un estudio sobre la importancia del mito como constructor de un logos perdido, que reconecta la realidad extramental y la realidad diegética. Una vez establecida la visión mitopoiética del autor, en el segundo capítulo se trabajará la creatura filológica la cual marca al lenguaje como sustancia primordial de dicha reconexión. Sustentada en un carácter a la vez filológico y ontológico, ya que el hombre conoce y comprende la realidad a través de la palabra. Para finalizar, en el tercer capítulo se abordará la obra de arte como proyecto intercognitivo y puente interpersonal, en el que se penetra y resemantiza la existencia a través de la creación artística.	es

dc.description.abstractenglish	This research seeks to track the ontological value of the work of art in the fictional and academic corpus of the author John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. In his work as a philologist, the author proposes an approach to the text that is imbued with its own sensitivity, essential to understand the view on artistic creation. From his perspective, the artist is analogous to divinity, and his work of art is a sub-creation that is structured by the close relationship the creator have with his viewers. Linking these theoretical notions with the fictional work of the author, it will be unraveled from what dimension Tolkien's prose is positioned before the world and before man. To achieve this objective, in the first chapter a study will be carried out on the importance of myth as a constructor of a lost logos, which reconnects the extramental reality and the diegetic reality. Once the mythopoietic vision of the author is established, in the second chapter the philological creature will be worked on, which marks language as the primordial substance of said reconnection. Sustained in a character that is both philological and ontological, since man knows and understands reality through the word. Finally, in the third chapter, the work of art will be addressed as an intercognitive project and an interpersonal bridge, in which existence is penetrated and resemantized through artistic creation.	es
